If you really want to stop this type of calls, write a clear, concise, and directly to the point letter to all of your city, county, state and federal representatives. Tell them that the Do Not Call list is all but useless and you are tired of these calls, and that something must be done to put a stop to them. Even if you did not vote for them, tell them that you did, and that your next vote with strongly depend on how many times you get awakened in the early morning by unwanted calls. Ask them to please take action as soon as possible.

2 rings. Dead line. Call return says "Please stand by"...Aldo Cortez of First National Quality Assurance" (yeah, right) answered. Seems to be a Mexico City phone bank mimicking a local cell phone.  I did bother to talk to him (and wouldn't) There's no debts within 10 or more years and nothing should be on any books. These scum-sucking bottom feeders and their minions are out there.

Just received a misses call from this number only says phone call. I am on the do not call list.  Blocking then

Receive various calls at work though out the day. I do not pick up. However I do not understand the benefit or motivation for these calls. Do they get some sort of reward for the phone calls they make or compensation? I just want to know what is the benefit to the person making the call...
