I recieved a phone call last evening from theses people with a threatening message - ending with God help Me! I then called a number back - I  spoke with an indian man who called himself Andy hunt- A different man placed the original phone call. They said this was from an early payday loan i took over the computer(In feb 09) for $350- Now is $1,033 owed due to non-payment and collections fees, and court costs. Mind you I have not heard anything or recieved any paperwork for this. They knew my place of employment, and my social security #! They threatened Toplace documentationto my employer to hav me fired. They told me I had to write an apology letter to them(Tey told me exactly what to write. They then recorded me reading it to them , and then said i must have it notarized and sent to them by the morning!When I read the part about How I owed them $1,033 - I specifically stated as a add in on the recording that i do not know how it is this much. They then told me that i had to send them $100 immediately. Not by mail- BUT by a prepaid card only- I was to go purchase one for $100 and call them back by 10 am or they were pressing charges for check fraud, criminal intent, etc.. These people are horrible people. They told me they were going to the courts at 10:01 am if they did not recieve their $. That I would have to go all the way to california by friday or i was going to jail!. This morning I went through all the details, and talked with a friend. this makes no sense. I calleda lawyer from the state cappitol building. they said it sounds like an abbusive scam with scare tatics. Bottom line- What these people are doing is illegal. You mustbe presented with official court documents Sappena(SP?) hand delivered. Then you contact a lawyer and it gets settled through them. I also spoke to the state attorney generals office which gave me the same information. I then tried to call these people back- andy hunt's personal business line (supposedly). They refused me to speak to him- said they were only a security gaurd!I asked him the name of the company -during our coversation he gave me too different names. Finally when i demanded an address for these people he refused me several times- I even asked him" you are telling me sir that you don't know what building you are even working in?" He hung the phone up on me!!!! What these people are doing is outrageous and they really need to be stopped!

I too received threatening calls from these jerks, saying that they would send the criminal charges they are bringing against me to my job and that I had two hours to make a payment or contact a lawyer. Is this legal??

sounds similar to what i got, only one digit off 415-200-0250, threatened to have me arrested by 9:00 tonight.  has anyone ever really talked to these people?  gotten any names?  it's important because if they are the same ones calling me, they have ALL my info, and could have yours.

This is not legal at all. Firt court papers have to be drawn then you have to be legaly presented with the documents. Then they can not make you go there - or else. It will be handeled by lawyers. If they threatened your job, and they take any action to have you fired- keep the proof/ contact a lawyer/ and sue them for harrassment/ slander/ etc... And you would have every right to do so.  If they contact you again the ONLY thing you should say is I contacted a lawyer and to file what you need to - I will be waiting for the propper documentation and court papers- AND that is it. DO NOT give them any other information.....
These people are vicious people and need to be stopped. THINK they do not want a check(not even a bank authorized check) or a money order- They only accept a prepaid $ card- that you have to call them back with a code for. Untraceable!!!! These are Frauds!!!!
