I called the number back.  robo call thanked me for the call back and immediately gave me option to press 2 to opt out of future calls or stay on the line to hear about an amazing fina...pressed 2, done.

This number calls all the time. It's a recorded telemarketing line to make 10k/month forever.

People that are calling these numbers back and "opting out" by pressing a number. I hope you really don't believe this will happen.   It is not done, it has probably just begun.
