This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This guy called approximately 10 times throughout the day he left one voicemail demanding that I or my attorney call back immediately. So I had someone call him back and ask for information he told my friend that he is a attorney and gave some bogus company called American Cash stated that I had a lawsuit filed against in the US court and that I would be arrested. My friend told him that this call was being recorded and that it is against US Federal law to make threats against US citizens regarding civil matters, he told my friend that he is a paralegal and can do what he wants. After he hung up the phone my friend decided to call him back as he did me, so for the next hour he continued to call asking for a physical address the guy finally took the phone off the hook. My friend said he will continue to call this guy just because.

This person called me and my work when I finally returned the call n these people screamed at me n told me I would go to jail tommorow this brought me to tears. they stated I had a law suit threw American express and all this other stuff finally called my mom n she explained to me wat was going on do not fall for this!!

I have being harass from number 414-448-2221 they said they are trying to collect an debt that I do not have... This should be reported to the Business Better Bureau company in the city where the company is claiming to be located .

american cash Co. This is a crimian extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP.They are haresting and buying consumers personal identifying info from webvsies. The FTC has indicted one of is ringleders for criminal fraud. They keep calling my handicapped husband at MY work number, my cell number and my home number with threating statements....I would like these stopped and looked into. I see many others have had the same calls. They ae harassing us and threatening us with criminal charges and law suites that are totally false. I called the number back and and they said they would call me back..they say they are a legal firm. What can you do? There number is registered in West Allis, but they are operating out of India.

I have also received calls from 4144442221. Very disturbing and unsettling for me. They told me to go to Walmart and get a green dot money pak. I have took they nessacary steps and placed alerts on my information.
