called for my son, took down his info: name of "LAW FIRM"  goldberg and maxwell; phone #414-431-5191
after I realized this was a scam after he refused to give me any information, told him this was a scam and
not to call back and to cease and desist, his name was Roland Sheperd . he became very abusive and threatened me that the phone call was recorded (which he did not inform he was going to do) and said
that i would be charged as an accompliance.

Just had a caller who left a message stating that he with an investigation firm and that I should call him back before they proceed with filing against me.  I returned the call and got an answering machine and the name was Roland Sheperd.  If they really wanted to file a case against me then they would not be calling to tell me that, they would just file a case.  It's ascam.

If they were a legitamate lawfirm they would be listed as one when you do a phone reversal lookup.  They are a scamming company that may have purchased a bad loan or one of those horrible payday loans which are illegal too because of usery charges.  Anyway tell the guy that it is illegal to misrepresent himself and claim that he is with a lawfirm when he in fact is not, it is also illegal to say that you are filing or have filed a claim when in fact you have or are not planning to.  These are scare tactics that these bottom feeders use and it is completely illegal.  The worst part about it is that they are fly-by-night companies because if they were real companies you could sue them for threatening you.  The best thing to do is ignore them - they will keep calling but will go away and then will call you about once every 3 months.
