I bought a V202 call blocker from Amazon. It cost $85 and the best money I've spent. It blocks 1200 calls including area codes. It takes less than 30 seconds to hook up. My phone is silent.

The message on the voice mail was just someone breathing heavily. Mildly disturbing. They just breathed and disconnected the call.
