Got a call today at 3:42 pm EST, from a lady asking for the person who handles the electric bill. I questioned it and she asked for my husband's first name and asked what I him. Of course, I asked if I sounded like  a man? I asked her for her name, she said "Vera Dixon"; I asked where she was calling from, she said"Liberty Power". Of course, I never heard of them, we have WMECO forever. I asked her not to call here anymore and hung up. I called WMECO to report this call. And called the Federal Trade Commission 1-877-382-4357 and reported this scam call. Please call this Federal Trade Commission and report any type of scam calls to report them right away. If this was a real company calling, their company name would appear on caller ID.. this one didn't. There are people going door to door pretending to be from the electric company scamming elderly people. No one should show their bills to anyone who asks for them at the door.

got a call from this guy ,work late so when he made me say hello 3 times, i said do you not know how to answer when someone says hello. the guy was very rude and said you dont know computers do you ,i said no i dont want to argue i work late and i dont want to have to say hello 50 times,when i was woken up and i had to sleep.the guy replied im at work too. i just hung up. tried to call the number back and could not get through ,tellihg i needed a code to get through .went on the internet at work put the humber in and found similar experiences from others.the guy was rude and very un-professional and the whole call didnt sound right to me,when i thought about it.
