We got a call from this number today, 27 Dec 2015, at 8:48 pm. The caller ID was SPRINGFIELD MA. My wife answered because we know people who live in Springfield.  The person calling started to say something about American Veterans, and my wife hung up. This is probably another scam claiming to support our veterans. The number will be added to our call blocker. I highly recommend such a device to avoid these nuisances.

This number just called me and hung up on my answering machine. I don't answer numbers I don't know, and this is why. Thanks for the info Ken.

Just another shitscammer using a phished number!!!

phone companies dont want to stop these calls be cause they make money frm the fees they charge for use of the phone
 other wise they would shut off serivice for sny phone not used for legal use      no scammer could use a phone number reported
being used improperly

Called right after I got done with a service call to Comcast so I almost answered it thinking they called me back.  Didn't say comcast so I let it ring. Sick of these scammers. Glad I didn't answer this call.
