Got a call from this company, claiming I owed a debt of $1000 from 7 years ago, then offered to "settle it" for about $700. They kindly offered me the options of paying with a credit/debit card or savings/checking account over the phone. I told them that I wanted documentation of this debt and I was certainly not giving them any of my financial information over the phone! I even commented that in this day and age, I was surprised that they would even ask for it in order to settle this mystery debt. When I asked for written documentation, they said they couldn't send anything because they weren't a "collection agency," which made absoluetely no sense. They identified themseles as "DS Managemnt Group." I found this website, that doesnt seem to offer much info and i frankly think is a little shady: http://www.debtsquared.com/
