This number called today, yesterday it was 412-532-0120. Both numbers are from Latrobe, Pa, near Pittsburgh. Neither number shows up on any of the phone comment sites, not 800 notes or any of the others. Niether one left a message. Today, I picked up. Nothing, no voices, nobody said anything. I waited a minute or so, then punched a series of #####s into the phone, and hung up.

The numbers appear to be part of a bloc or series, related in some way. Could it be another scam maneuver by Portfolio Recovery? The other day, I received a call from a number known to belong to Portfolio Recovery, but the caller ID showed the notorious "CARD SERVICES."   Can anybody comment on what link there may be between the notorious "lower your rates" scam which uses "Card Services" as a caller ID sometimes, and the bottom feeding pond scum at the zombie debt extortionists dba Portfolio Recovery Associates?
