I got the same thing today from that number 412-407-5951. I never even applied for any Social Security benefits. When I called back, the lady hung up on me when I asked how she got my number.

Be careful a new scam from this number!! They will call you and ask you "Can you hear me OK?".  Once you say "Yes", they will record it and use it to authorize fake charges.  You can google "can you hear me okay scam" and you will find many warnings.
