Fake payday loan collection scam.  Ignore.

They keep calling me and threatening legal action, how did you deal with them?

They called threating me ., telling me that my son in law was involved in crimal activities . Told me that I would be charged for this also. .  His name was Mel. Had a hard time understanding him,. He had a very bad accent.

Received 2 calls today from this number stating that I am being investigated for criminal activities, and that I must call him back as for it is an important matter.  The second time he called he knew everything about me, my ssn, address, place of employment. Is this seriously a scam? I just recently stated getting calls from them starting in sept/oct. and now its like twice every other week. I too couldn't understand him because of the accent and all the other people talking in the background.
