I got one today

It's a scam saying they are collecting for the Fire Department / Police Departmend. They are not actually associated with either

Caller-ID = 412-275-1097 CARNEGIE PA (12:45 PM) -- I took this call by saying that this is the 5th Police District, Sergeant Reilly.  The man on the other end of the line immediately went into his spiel about collecting for some firemen's charity.  I repeated that he had reached the 5th Police District, that I was Sergeant Reilly and that he was calling on Captain Henderson's private line.  We have nothing to do with charities here.  This is a police station.  I suggest you call 311 and talk to someone who can better direct your call to the appropriate city agency.  He then slammed the phone down in my ear.  Poor fellow.

Called a few minutes on my machine.  Said -"hello, this is Mark Morrison".   That was all he said.
