Rang and I absentmindedly answered it as I was awaiting a call from a contractor....  once I realized it wasn't him and the other side didn't answer my "hello"... so I hung up... put them on "Auto Reject" and won't have to deal with them again... so many of these scams going on...

The phone rang.  I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. The  party hung up after message on answering machine came on????   Sounds like a scam trying to reach people by local phone numbers.

Have no idea who this call came from.   If it says unknown, we just don't answer.   Left no message, so couldn't be that important.  Really getting disgusted with these unknown name, unknown numbers  calling all hours of the day and night.  Do no call list is worthless!
