Got this call today after I phoned the MD insurance dept. The state govt employee was professional, but the people behind these calls are the opposite--they're professional lawbreakers IMHO. I got a call from a different number last week when I called the VA ins dept to complain about my health insurer, which apparently thinks itself above the law since its reps brag that complaints are useless because of their great relationships with regulators, esp in VA and HHS. Yes, this number's on the DNC list and is a cellphone and I also gave that insurer and its debt collector partners FCRA letters. The hangup calls, robocalls and robocalls from "credit card services" and various spammers claiming to be surveyors or prize announcers who just need some credit info for prize processing fees began when I complained to regulators about alteration of medical records and continue to this day as HHS's OCR does nothing and grabs jurisdiction from FTC and DOJ.
