Got a harassing phone call from this number. They left a message on my answering machine.They claimed that they were with an IRS investigation office that was going to press criminal charges  against me. Sound like a complete fraudulent call. I am certain that it's a phishing scheme of some kind. Just blocked the number don't fall for their line of garbage.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Got the call this morning answered it and it was a prerecorded saying they were from the IRS crime division.  Did not mention my name. So def. a phishing scam.

Do not respond. Or call back and give fake info to screw with them.

Same here but got in an email, I hope I didn't get a virus because of it.  Exact same thing saying I am going to be prosecutes in a court house.  Scam!!!!
