Received the same call with a computer voice saying it was the IRS. I was audited 5 years ago and know the letters come first.

They said they were with the IRS and that they were going to sue me. The IRS NEVER calls. They always send a letter!

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, so this number left an automated voicemail saying they were the IRS and were filing a lawsuit against me. What a joke. I know it sounds scary, but trust meC IT IS NOT REAL. This is absolutely not how the IRS operates. It is a scam. Do not give them any information.

A voicemail was left on my husband's cell phone, claiming to be the IRS and that a lawsuit had been filed against him. He was advised to call back to take care of this very serious matter. Obvious scam.

Received a call from this number at 1:11pm today. I do not answer calls from people I do not know. The message stated that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and for me to call back. I did not...and will not. This is a scam.
