We are getting calls from various spammers, and they are making us a little crazy. Thanks for the numbers list so that we know not to answer. I hate spammers!

Have received numerous calls from this number as well as the others listed below. All for the same thing.. trying to sell me health insurance. Most of the calls hang up as soon as I answer. The times they don't or if I call them back state the health insurance crap. The calls start at 6:00am my time (MST) and continue until 6:00pm. They are now auto-blocked on my Verizon wireless phone, but I look at the block calls at the end of the day to see who was blocked. Here are all the numbers related to this scam, the text next to the number is what shows up on my phone:

Your number is probably being robo-dialed at random, a typical scam operation that can call hundreds of numbers in a short time. They look for people to answer, which can indicate a live phone that can then be sold to other scammers.

In some cases they count on curious people to call the number back, which definitely says "Here is a live number," which is why you shouldn't ever call back an unknown number.

Not answering an unknown number is harder especially with voice mail that kicks in automatically, but you should never pick up on a repeat caller -- unless you hang up immediately, not letting it go to voice mail.

There are call blockers you can look into that will stop the call from coming in. Google CALL BLOCKER and see if there's one that fits your needs.

Got a call from this number today also, as well as from another number on this list. We set up contacts in our phones and name them Bogus. We then assign these numbers to this contact, and set the ringtone to "no ring". That way when they call back, the phone doesn't ring, we don't answer, and they never speak to a live person. Reported them to the FCC a while back, within 2 days FCC emails me and says they are closing the ticket, doing absolutely nothing about it. They're as useless as the DNC list. Nothing gets enforced while your taxes pay a lot of people to do nothing, apparently. So since the agencies that are supposed to stop this kind of thing aren't performing a service, you have to handle it yourself and come up with your own solution. We can't put blockers on our cell phones so I found a way to at least make them less annoying.
