Periodically I have received calls asking for Murphy Smith (and Marty Smith before that). I don't know a Murphy Smith or a Marty Smith and keep telling them that. This time, unlike the earlier calls, the caller became verbally abusive with obscenities. It was from this number, but reading over the other comments, I noticed references to United Savings and a solar company calling from this number and I have received these calls often as well. It makes me wonder if all these calls are coming from the same group working from different scripts.

I have gotten 16 calls from this number in the past week (9 in one day--most of which occurred while I was in class--which I told the man on the other end).  I have picked up on a few occasions and a man of Indian descent informed me that he is calling about car insurance.  My parents pay my car insurance (my father worked for a well-known insurance company in the Hartford CT area for years...so my insurance is through them), so this man has no right to even call my number.  I am getting incredibly annoyed, and my number has been on the CT do not call list for a while.  I don't know where they are getting people's numbers but it's getting to the point of harassment.  I am going to try to call back and remove myself from the list (as one of the other posters on this thread has done) and will post an update if it worked or not.  Hey, we can all hope, right?

I'm getting these calls from this number too and i don't answer unless i know the number and person calling me

They wanted to update my information on my home and auto insurance

This foreign guy keeps calling my phone everyday all day long can't understand much something about some insurance I then told him I didn't need anything and to take me off their list and stop calling my phone but he keeps calling I have cursed this guy he still calls finally I blocked the number
