Do not respond to unwanted texts or emails from questionable sources. Several mobile service providers will allow you to report unwanted spam texts by simply texting/forwarding it to 7726 (or “spam”) to enable the providers to prevent future unwanted texts from the specific sender.

However, in many cases, the text origin, as seen on your phone, is faked.  The internet domain does not exist, or the phone number may have been spoofed.

Text came in this morning at 2:26AM from 1210100002 and it said FRM:1-409-683-3175 SUBJ:forget that! pllayying doctor is for kids I think it is coming from a on line scam off of Facebook that tried too scam me Military Romance Scam He went by the name Joseronald Dominguez and Facebook has removed his or their account and I did text it back and told them I was not playing doctor and this guy is still on Skype I also tried to Skype him also this morning he was on but would not answer May 3-1015 I was so angry Thanks hops something can be done

Got a text from this number calling me babe and crap, and wont tell me a name or anything, kinda creeping me out. I finally just stopped texting it back but they wont stop texting me.

Forward the texts to 7726 (short code for SPAM). Your cell provider will investigate and block.
