I have a horse listed for sale and this number texted about wanting to purchase.  Wanted to send a shipper after paid with pay pal account.  When I tried to call it, it is a text only number so the person texted back and had the audacity to say they were "on base and unable to respond to phone call, pls text me back for now, hope you understand?"  I just replied back that I had reported the number as a scam and didn't hear another word.. But the longer I thought about it the madder I got so I really am reporting the number!  How dare they use the military angle to scam people!!!!

Same as above for my 95 year old Dad. He is selling his motor home and they wanted to pay with paypal and purchase it sight unseen. Said they were going to send a shipper by to pick it up. Also, used the on base statement.

Scam

same as the 2 above trying to buy my car said was in fort bragg was sending $800 to my pay pal was suppose to go get $300 in i tune cards from wal mart to pay the transporter then would release the funds what a joke butt heads

Yeah I had a classified ad in the paper and he said on fort bragg and got my paypal account to send me money, but no money and he kept wanting me to check my spam folder, but no spam even. I wouldn't have clicked it, but now I'm going to call the FBI.
