I also was asked the rent thing and offered a loan for car or home...This is a new scam..I never heard of it before. Asked where she is now..Arizona. call back CA....I could hear laughter and talking in background. Foreign of course.....need "scam" in call type..maybe this whole site is the scammer information center.  "Just a thought".
