i have got a call from this number to

I got a call from this number threatning me if I didn't pay this amount owed to National Payday that they would come with law enforcement and pick me up and take me to court to pay for $5,000 + in attorney fees and so on. If I didn't make a payment today in the amount of $700+ they had my employers number and my social number. I need to know if this is an legite number and company they had very broken english and it was very noisy in the background. They asked me to write a letter of apology to the company and reasons why I did not pay and also give them my account number in which they could take the money out of my account. They were not willing to work out any kind of arrangements with me. I needed to fax within the hour this information.

i just got a call myself just now and it sounded like this lady is from aiti or something saying that it's a la firm regarding a payday loan and they have my email address and last 4 digits of my ss#....who is this?

My inlaws got this same call for my husband and he hasn't lived there for over 9 yrs now.  We have been trying to call the number back but all we get it a busy signal.  Does anyone have any info on this and  if it is is legit.  Please let us know.
