Just got text message to reply to the email account linda_james001@hotmail.com.  Looks like this was previously reported under a different number

I also got a text message to reply to a different email account james.rebecca67@yahoo.com.

I received the same message from the email above james.rebecca67@yahoo.com. She attempted to order something from me, but I was mailed an check with insufficient funds. I didn't order the product...glad my bank checked it for me!!

408-874-6018  and james.rebecca67@yahoo.com has contacted me several times on my phone and through my personal e-mail. this person wanted to order $300 worth of product. I explained that the check would have to clear my bank before I could send out any product. this person is persistent in making sure that I receive this check even though I told them it had to go through the fraud department of my bank. this person contacts me daily. when I questioned them about how they received my information they became upset.

this person scammed someone I know for almost 1000. ordering items from Avon and then sending check that was fake. Things like this will keep happening to people because 1. the bank did nothing but make my friend pay for the 1000 and the police were no help saying there was nothing they could do. this is why people keep doing this.....they get away with it.........the email she used was james.rebecca67@yahoo.com and the phone was (559)296-2092 which is somehow a landline that she or he was texting from. When the police told my friend what to text her she/he got mad said that 37.00 was missing from the money that was wired back to her/him and that she/he was going to voodoo all of her family and that she/he was going to hurt my friend.........last time I checked threatening people is illegal but again there is nothing that anyone can do we were told.......SAD
