She said she was the DEA and confiscated a package and had a warrant for my arrest and a search warrant for my house. I just hung up, and nothing ever came of it. Lies, it's all lies!!!

THIS IS AN EXTORTION SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and may be using bought/hacked/phished loan application data to extort money or personal info for fictitious crimes.

I reported this crazy "Officer Lynn Taylor" to the real DEA scam hotline. I cant believe that the line is still on! I called her back today to see if my reporting has shut her down but apparently not! I sure hope they catch this very intimidating woman before she scams some sweet old ladys out of their cash.  I hope she gets an incurable crotch rash. What a scumbag.

I received the same call yesterday from Lynn which my caller ID showed it came from San Jose, California. Since I have a brother who lives there I was immediately freaked out! Then she told the same story about it being about me ordering on-line phentermine and how there was a warrant for my arrest and DEA agents coming to my house to arrest me. She was even shameless enough when she heard my newborn son crying in the background to tell me I'd better be ready to have him taken from me when I went to jail! I realized it was not true and hung up but was still looking out my windows when my husband came home and told me it was a scam. I called the number back and it is even more shocking - there were three people that were sharing the number! I blocked the number (of course after I left "Lynn" a nasty message). I hope they are caught and they aren't too successful with this scam!

Got the call this morning from the impersonator Lt. saying I was going to have a felony on my record and be arrested for buying online medication from years ago. I told her that was BS and that I've never had a speeding ticket. She said I could avoid jail time and cut a deal with a third party on the line. I was dropiing my son off at school and told him goodbye and then she threatened me that he would be a third party involved because he heard my conversation. I told her to F off and come arrest me and hung up. I googled the number and thank god I saw these stories. They cannot get away with this!!!! I was in tears!
