Probably a DA that dials wrong numbers, frequently. Have had the same 408 718-xxxx calls, and they never leave any messages.

Have had this number call periodically over a 3-month period. But never left any voicemails. It's the same area code & prefix as me -- meaning a cell phone from the same area. I have called back & nobody has ever picked up, but the generic recording takes voicemails--indicating it's a private cell phone line. I've always thought it's someone I know (because a couple of my family members have the same area code & prefix cell numbers), that's why I haven't blocked it. But today, I've decided I've had enough & am BLOCKING IT NOW!
