Obviously bogus Caller ID: "ABCF." I let it go to the answering machine, of course, and no message was left, just like always with these scammers. This time I disabled *my* caller ID (by dialing *67, then dialing their number). I got a recording saying it's the American Breast Cancer Fund and the call is fund raising. No reputable charity would break the laws against calling numbers on the Do Not Call list so this confirms they're scammers.
Note: I googled, found the name of this so-called charity and found it listed at Charity Watch. Deep reading there shows that this is, indeed, a scam organization that "reported using three for-profit professional fundraisers that collectively retained over 90% of the funds raised ..., leaving only about 9% of the funds for the charity (IRS Form 990 Schedule G, Part I)."
