same here. the number, 408-684-9652 & caller id = san jose, ca. I called back on another line. I got an automated answer. A chirpy woman announced 'you have reached a pinger number.'  she said something about my number being recorded & the caller would call me back. then the mechanical voice said 'why dontcha hang up so I don't have to hang up on you. '
