Same situation as the above posts. Foreign-sounding individual with an American name - this time Scott Miller - yeah, right -- with no firm name just a return number. I never call them back. Once I answered and they just want to transfer you to a supervisor. They will not give you the name of the creditor they claim you owe money to and they are collecting for and refuse to send you anything in writing. Unfortunately, they are relentless. Once a few months ago, I finally answered because they would call, leave a message and then immediately call back, like 10 times in a half hour. I got into a argument with the "supervisor" (another foreign sounding indvivdiual named something like Mary Jones) about sending me something in writing. She said unless I paid over the phone that day, I would sorry and would be arrested (?). I just hung up. No reasoning with them as they appear to just be a call center looking for a sucker.
