Answered just cuz, lots of chatter in background but no onr answered my "hello."  Number blocked.

I had to repeatedly ask but it's from American Pro Energy in Los Angeles.  They have an F rating with the BBB, currently 324 complaints.  I spoke with a Bill Martinez who turned me over to a confirmer named Jessie.  They have a website by that name.  It turns out that they are not a solar company but a company that develops referrals that they give to actual solar electric companies.  They gave me a contact number of 818-928-3365.  I called the 408-495-2873 number back and got through to their answering machine, so the number isn't spoofed.  Jessie later called me back from 951-370-1111 (caller ID said Gnau and Tamez).  This is not a company that you want to do business with.  I'm documenting this here for possible later use in a legal action.

Some more searching indicates that American Pro Energy is the defendant in a class action suit regarding their illegal telemarketing.  See:
