Rude A$$ PO$- asks for my boss- (VERY loud call center in background)- when i ask who is calling he stated "Mike" ("Mike" was definitely NOT his name)
I ask where he is calling from and he stated "Capital Bank and then asked for Boss again-
I responded by asking what the call is regarding (which i ask EVERY ONE!) and the caller responded with annoyance that it was a "business call and that he was returning my boss' call and HE would know what it was regarding"

I responded by stating- "Well my Boss tells me to get this information when he gets a call"- and then i asked the caller- "so you spoke to him earlier today??? and are returning his call? (FYI-Boss is on Vacation)

Caller hung up on me

Received a call to my business and after asking who was calling so I knew how to direct the call, they said it was a law firm. I asked if they could send an email and was immediately hung up on.

Man with heavy accent and bad connection requested an unintelligible name.  It's been a long week, and at 5:00 (when the board is supposed to shut down), I wasn't going to spend ages asking him to spell the name when, more than likely, the person either had left for the weekend or doesn't work here, anyway.  Researching the number led to Electric Equipment Manufacturing & Wholesale, so he was probably trying to become a vendor.  Transferred him to Purchasing.

Rec'd call from this number today; claimed they were from UPS and trying to deliver a package; hung up when I confirmed my name.  Very suspicious call.  Will be reporting to authorities.

This number pops up frequently, and they change their POBs like everyone changes their underloos. But it gets worse when it appears (like today) that they do not understand that they've dialed the wrong company and unlike 411 we cannot provide them with the phone number and/or email of a non-existent employee.
