Uh, yeah, it's of course the CIA.  You are obviously an important foreign national, and therefore of interest to an agency that's dedicated to learning about unpublished political and military activity in foreign countries.   And of course an agency that has virtually unlimited computer resources with automated voice recognition and translation and transcription capabilities obviously needs telemarketers to manually call random domestic numbers...yeah, sure, it's the CIA.

Called the number, it's a Subscription Renewal Processing Center for free trade journals.  If you wish to renew, press 1, if not, press 2.  I pressed 2, hopefully the calls will stop now.

Someone at 408-418-9441 calls me EVERY day at work.  This has been going on for weeks.

When I answer; no one on the line.  Has anyone tried Robin's suggestion (pressing 2)?

Yep Just a got a call from this number. No one there, just silence. Annoying!

Calls, rings twice and disconnects.
I called it back and listened to a recording about a magazine subscription ending. Thewy give you the option to press 8 and be removed from there call list.
