They called yesterday asking for my daughter.  She was working so I took message.  I had heard about these calls and I know that the federal government never calls. They love letter writing.  She called back and said she had called yesterday and daughter didn't call.  Why.  I told her I didn't know.  She repeated this very sarcastically.  As my good deed for the dat I kept her on phone so she couldn't bother someone else.  Finally i got tired of her rudeness and told her I was going to call the Attorney General food my state and surprisingly she hung up nome.  Watch out for these folks and tell all your friends and relatives THE FEDS DO NOT CALL NEVER NADA.

yep got the same call yesterday saying i was goin to jail told them send police yet noone showed up at door  its a scam!

I just got a call, the person was adamant that I was going to be arrested. When I asked for something in writing, they said that a certified letter was sent. There was no letter and this makes no sense to me. I find it to be a threat and will follow up with the police.

Left message on home phone (never use that number) claiming legal action, arrest, the works.   Great stuff really, I may even have to get a little creative and report this as a threat to my employer as a Defense contractor.  They take special interest when things like that happen to their workers.

Garden variety  Indian IRS scammer.  Working out of a large call center.   I'm sure they also handle loan and grant scams, computer scams and debt scams as well.  All purpose scam call center.
