Got a call this afternoon @ 1:45 PM from someone named Brian Cruse claiming to be calling from Investigation Bureau of IRS asking to speak with my wife.  I told him to [***] Off and hung up on him.  He immediately called back and left a message threatening my wife that she needs to call him back right a way since she owes back taxes to IRS. He gave a call number as (408) 351-6925 with message that failure to return his call will result in sever consequences such as seize personal property , close all bank account , cancel driver's license and passport etc.. Additional legal actions will also taken and you will be in big trouble. I heard the message and called back the number just to give this Mo..Fu.. my piece of mind.  The phone was not answered.

Got a call from 408-351-6925 at 7:50 this morning. Caller asked for me ( I said she is not here).  Told me to have her call back because she owes money to IRS and can be arrested.  She needs to call him immediately, his name is Steve Frayen.   I knew it was a scam and want to share this message.

A Indian accent guy call me this early morning,claiming he is from the investigation bureau of IRS. And they are going to invest my income .i said I should get formal mail from irs if they need to do that. The he said officer Kevin bederson is going to in charge my case. Tell me to contact hime by this number 408 351 9625. And he will tell me what to do next. Thanks for the internet.thanks for the information shared. Be careful for the fraud my friend

Yes!!!!I got the call at 8:30 in the morning. Asking to speak to my husband.  The Caller Id showed the  408-351-6925 to be from San Jose area! Thank you this post!

Recieved a similar call from this number in the morning. John Miller from IRS, recorded a threatning voice message. In the afternoon recieved a call from same person but different number this time.425-214-0745
