408-317-5594 has called before. If they answer, they know so little about finance it is not worth talking to them. The world is full of annoying scams.

receive calls daily from various 408 numbers.  this one called twice in an hour saying it was a last chance to lower credit card rates.  they say press 1 to find out about the offer.  i have let it ring through w out answer.  i have hung up, i have let the message play through.  finally i pressed 1 to ask that my number be removed.  there was a lot of noise in the background and the guy just hung up

Called cell phone multiple times.  Each time it says that this phone call will be my final one (maybe from this particular number as the same service seems to be in FL, CA, VA, WV, CO).  Anyway, the first time I selected to talk with an agent.  When one picked up I asked which credit card the call was in regards to.  They hung up.  The next time the call gave me an option to be taken off the call list.  Pressed the option, it rang once, then it hung up on me.  I would love to get one of these idiots home number and call them twenty times a day for a month and see how they like it.

Obviously this is a scam.  But they don't leave a message & when you do get a person they act dumb and/or hang up -- so what are they trying to sell?  Best thing to do is just not answer when you see this number.  Eventually they'll stop & move on to harrass someone else.  Do Not Call List is a joke!  I've gotten more of these kinds of calls since I put myself on DNC than ever before!

Receive numerous calls from this number. I asked to be removed from a call list. I spoke to an extremely rude and beligerant saleperson who when I asked to speak to a supervisor responded "he says the french toast is good!". I tried to report them to verizon and the Federal Trade Commission, but no luck. I am on the do no call list.
This is downright unacceptable!!
