They called my mother-n-law on her cell phone and asked if she knew me and that I needed to call them ASAP. I don't know how they got her number but when I called the number back and you get a recording saying the card balance is low and it hangs up on you.

Just gotten a call from this number at work and cell I don't know how this person gotten my number he left a message saying that he is with Crime Fincial name was marc austin he had to be reading off a pieace of paper cause he kept stopping.I didn't answer the call plus I have take number off call list but still calling.The number that show up was( 10303339747) weird but left me this number it call 407-910-0800.

I received a call from this number today, from a Jim White with Financial Crimes Division.  The message that this person left is really disturbing. 'Hello.  This message is for X.  X, this is Jim White (or Dwight?).  I'm calling from Financial Crime Division. The nature of my call is extremely time sensitive and urgent.  Right now, you are in a big legal mess.  One of your friends, Y, has utilized your name and number for doing a fraudulent activity.  So before we go further, and take any legal action against the both of you, do give me a call or just tell your friend, Y, to give me a call on my number that's 407-910-0800. Again the number is 407-910-0800.  Now, if I didn't receive a call then it will taken that you are trying to run away from this legal matter. And the best thing I can do is that wish you good luck as this situation will unfold on you and affect you.  So do give me a call as I might be in a position to help you at this time. Wanted to add this to the post - to be cautious, I called and filed a complaint against this number with the Do Not Call registry and then also put a fraud alert on my social security number.  I called 1-800-680-7289 - this is the number for Transunion and it only takes a minute to add a 90 day fraud alert on your social security number.  Transunion shares this alert with the other two credit reporting agencies.  I wanted to share this number with anyone who is concerned that their info has been compromised in some way.  The part of this scam that is freaky is that the person that Jim White mentioned to have used my information is someone that I haven't spoken to in a long time and I'm not sure how they would even see our names associated anywhere.  Seems like everyone else has gotten a message that involves someone related to them.  And they called on my cell phone, which is odd because I'm not sure how they would have gotten that number.  I called the local Secret Service branch, because they come up when you google 'Financial Crimes Division' and they said that the message was nothing to do with them.  I also called Social Security and they gave me the number for the Federal Trade Commission, which is how I attained the number for the fraud alert listed earlier.  I hope that this helps someone who is also getting these calls.  I checked my credit report at myfico.com and didn't see any suspicious activity.  If I come across any other resources, I'll share them on this site.

I too received a call from the 10303339747 number on my caller ID. They also threatened me and referred to a friend I haven't spoken to since college in 1998. Don't know how they got my married name or my phone number. I am going to file a complaint with the Do Not Call registry and see who else I can contact.
