This number keeps appearing on my caller ID when I answer they hang up!  They call 3 to 4 times in a row.  Very annoying and weird

I get calls, silence, then  "Goodbye" and a hang-up.   ???? Did a reverse search:

Two calls to cell.  No message.  After reading posts, I will not answer if repeated.

called me about 25 times now, even yelled at the indian guy over the phone to stop calling me, said it was the first time he called me.

This AT&T Cingular Wireless caller has started calling so often that I had to unplug my phone.
I notified ATT, and filed a local police report. Encourage others to do the same.

This has to stop!  They may be trying to steal identity, or using our phones to make long distance calls.
Be sure to report, so you can avoid huge bills if that is the case.
