He responded to a car ad I have posted on the Samba via text. He said he would pay by Paypal, but said he needs to send me $500 more, so I can send his driver $400 via Western Union and the other $100 was for Western Union and Paypal fees. I told him (he told me his name is Kyle), that this looks like a scam, and that I wouldn't do it.. Didn't hear back, so I'm guessing I was right..

I just went through a similar deal.  He wanted me to send him $900 for shipping my vehicle.  I got a phony PAYPAL email, I reported him to the police.  He called himself Kyle and claimed he was in the military.  He also claimed he called the FBI.  What an [***]!

Within 10 min of me postung an ad for a computer he texted me woth a paste of my ad in his message. Oit of curiosity i look up the area code and saw this website. Great consumer tool. Wish more people knew of it
