I complain to the Florida and National Do Not Call Registries - guess what???  NO HELP THERE - WHAT A WASTE OF TAXPAYOR MONEY???   I also complain to Brighthouse - NO LUCK THERE EITHER???  Why don't they give customers unlimited blocking ability???  Complain to AARP about elderly telephone abuse ... and of course to Mica's Office ... well ... a little bit of help with them!   TELEPHONE TERRORISM MUST STOP - we must all keep writing to those who are suppose to serve and protect us ... I do NOT want to bother the local law enforcement because BRIGHTHOUSE AND TELEPHONE PROVIDERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS and agencies such as AARP, and government such as the National and State do not call registries should STOP  THIS IMMEDIATELY!

Two, how is anything going to stop spammers from other COUNTRIES where there is no JURISDICTION?

Callers are hardcore Indian and Pakistani scammer/extortionists who (1) ignore all US laws and (2) are beyond the reach of US law.  Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick kup on call numbers you do not recognize.  I'm 74 myself and I get these calls at least three or four times a month.  Complain to the authorities, yes, but also be pro-active .  Call blocker!

Local politicians know the FTC has the authority over phone calls, and the FTC is working on the problem.  AARP will do nothing, since they have an "opt out of calls" section that you have ignored, unlimited blocking is being worked on ... for an additional fee.

Why don't YOU buy a blocker, and use it correctly?
