I got a call today from the same number and they left a partial pre-recorded voice message. I called them back with my phone number blocked and they refused to identify themselves until I called with the number unblocked. Appears to be, as others have stated, an IRS scam. Doing a little research, I found out that the Treasury Department is treating this as a serious matter and they have set up a yellow highlighted block near the top of their website to report it. This number called and stated it was the IRS and there was a warrant issued and I should call them back before I was arrested

Recorded msg theatening my arrest if I didn't call them back because he said I committed tax fraud!  I called  the number and male identified himself as Kavin Watson. He had a foreign  accent. I told him I needed to speak to his boss to get some information as I was a IRS investigative officer! I am not however.  I told him to send me a letter. He did have my address which I said was wrong. He became very angry and loudly talked over me. When he stopped talking for a second I told him to listen to me very carefully at which time I said I wanted him to go "F" himself you SOB!!  I THEN HUNG UP THE PHONE with no more calls from that number!!!!!!

Yet another scammy call. No number on the caller ID, just "Incoming Call", the robocall started playing over the top of my outgoing message as follows:

"received a legal lawsuit and an arrest warrant on your name regarding tax fraud. So before this matter goes the the federal claim court house or before you get arrested, kindly call us back on our number as soon as possible. Our number is 407--547-1001..."

From the awkward phrasing and the word "kindly", I'm 100% certain this is a call I won't be returning. Nice try though. It was nice to not get the same old "This is IRS, Internal Revenue Service..." call. Kudos, scummy probable overseas call center.

I have robocall blocking, but if the message runs longer than the given time, it does ring through maybe once or twice. It showed up on my caller ID, and I called it back. The guy on the other end answered the phone with "IRS". I asked why they called me, and he said Don't answer calls like this. I told him I didn't answer the call, and the number was on my caller ID. Again he said don't answer calls like this, and I said how in the hell do I know it's a scam unless I either answer the phone, or call a number back that had called me.
He again said NOT to answer calls like this as it's a scam.. At least they are honest about it.. LOL
The voice did sound like someone with an India accent..
