Think I just got conned....posed as Faternal order of police, thanking me for past generous contributions, then asked for $75 to $100, then when I balked, asked for $25, then asked me to please spell my first and last name (they should have had it if I was a regular contributor), then asked for my credit card number which I said I never gave out....then asked me to promptly send in check......made me think of a scam....also, to wonder who would really get a check if sent in...very convincing caller easily taking advantage of the elderly

just got a call from this # was asking for ten dollars for something . caller id showed c4c Fl state. my husband answered and they knew who to ask for probably using directory he talked so fast he couldnt understand him. he handed me the phone and the guy was talking fast couldnt have gotten a word in if I wanted to. I just hung it up.
