Received call on my cell phone today stating they are the American Renewable Energy Service. they wanted to come out to my home and show my ways to get a cheaper power bill by installing newer windows. Until today I have never heard of the American Renewable Energy Service, and thought they were just trying to sell me new windows. They stated that there was $4000.00 in stimulus money per Florida household. I would receive a stimulus check to reimburse me for the money I laid out for the windows, probably about $1500.00. or more. I asked them how they got my cell number, and then told them I didn't have the money for new windows and that I was at work and to please not call me any longer. We'll see if that works!

I got a call from a solicitor last week and I told them that "I do not receive solicitation calls on my phone." I registered previously with "do not call..." Ever since then I receive a call everyday from an unknown number, different numbers each time. If you call the numbers back you get the standard voice mail message and then it says mailbox is full.

I did not wish to receive a call from a solicitor, and they did not leave a message.  I am on the no call list.

I just got the same call.  I stated I was on the "do not call" list and they stated twice after that it was not a sales call?

Then, unless they are a government program to reduce wasted energy, what is in it for them?  Sales!

Does reporting these numbers do any good?
