I just got a phone call wanting to lower my credit card interest rates. Dial 3 to get off their list, dial 1 to talk to a rep. I dialed 1 and got this man and told him that I didn't want to receive calls again, and he told me to shut my mouth man, and I told him I was a lady, He told me sexual stuff and then said that he would be at my house in 5 minutes with a 44 and he would do away with me and my husband and son, naming all of us and our address. I got the same verison recording when I called the number. I called the police and they said that they would look into it.

Same crap-they keep calling.  I don't answer anymore.

My phone service, Cox Communications, has advised not to call back.  Because of the way the laws are written, if you call them, that gives them the authority to continue to call you.  I have selective call blocking which I use if they continue to call over several weeks.

Called my landline number, caller ID said WIRELESS CALLER.

Pressed 1 to talk to someone and asked them who they were, she said she was from Card Member Services. I told her this was a violation of the Do Not Call List, she said it wasn't because I have a credit card from one of their banks. I asked which bank, she said "We work with Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citibank just to name a few." Told her I did not have a card from any of those banks, then she said "Well, I said just to name a few!". Asked her to name which bank I have a card from that she was calling on behalf of, and she got an attitude and said "If you do not want these calls, just press 3 next time!" and hung up.

Called me on May 7, first time using this number. This is the latest in a long string of numbers. GOOD NEWS, though, is that this outfit is being prosecuted by the feds. Each time you get a call, please file a complaint with FCC.gov and FTC.gov. Easy to do online.
