This phone number belongs to an 83 year old lady who insists no one is using her phone, but we continue to receive several calls a day from this number. When I answer the phone, this number appears on our TV screen, ther is no answer.  However, tonight for the first time a girl using this number said "goodbye" and hung up.  This same problem has occured to a number of other people using Bright House cable, as we do.  Bright House claims there's nothing they can do about it.  What are my options?  The 299-6199 number is a land phone line from AT&T.

Same thing. I keep getting calls from this number day and night. Have not answered it yet. But they wont stop calling. It isnt a brighthouse thing. I have dish. I will update when I finally get someone. It is probably a solicitor.

We have had the same number call over and over and over; up to 8 times a day.  I have blocked the number and they still continue to try to call. This has been going on for the last 5 days.
