407-295-9311 called Dec 12, 2014 at 12:01 pm.  Caller ID blocked with = OUT OF AREA  ( I am in 407 by the way, so how can it be out of my area?)

IF this is really Salvation Army, they have my support and really don't need to block their caller ID.  That just makes me suspicious.  

Telephone terrorism and telephone panhandling at its worse!  I give all the time to worthy organizations and directly to food banks.  According to DickS and PamB - it is okay for them to terrorize us with these begging phone calls!  Well - I guess if they paid my phone bill, it would be okay ... until then ??? absolutely not!  NEVER GIVE ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE - they may not be who they say they are!

A heavily accented man called, identifying himself as from the Salvation Army.  He stated that they would be in my area, knew my address, and wanted to know if I had furniture, household goods or food to donate! I doubt that the organization has resorted to asking for donations of goods and/ or food on the phone.  Seems like a scam.

This time I did not answer.  I am fed up with being harassed and wakened at all hours.
