Got a text from this number inquiring about a motorcycle I have on craigslist. (This is a Florida number and I live in Washington State) He/She eventually asked if I do paypal and I said I do cash only. As soon as I said that, I didn't hear from the number again. Potential scammer.

Got a text from this number regarding my horse trailer for sale. He said his name is David Gibson. It is an Orlando FL number, but he said he lived in MS. I asked how he planned on picking up the trailer. He asked if I had PayPal and that the "process" is that the "money" clears in my account then a "moving" company will pick up my horse trailer. SCAM!

I got a text from this number about 10 minutes after posting my wedding dress on craigslist. They said they were interested but then asked a bunch of questions that I had clearly answered in the posting. I humored them and rewrote all the details to which they replied that they were serious about buying. I decided to google the name he gave me and the number once he asked for my name and where I was located. Glad I found this!

I got a text from this number moments after posting an add to craigslist and the messages were very vague and were asking questions already answered in the ad. my gut feeling is this is a scammer.
