I just was scammed by the same guy. He said he was from out of the country and was sending his twin sons to Houston to look at colleges and he wanted volleyball lessons for them. He sent me a check for my fees and money to give to the driver of his boys. I thought it was suspicious and goggled his name. He told me his name was Timothy but his return address label is Patrick Bates from Ellijay, GA....

received text and email on renting a vacation home thru Craisglist.  After multiple back and forth, his employer was paying and would send a cashiers check at this point I was already suspicious and told him I couldn't bood them because I didn't hear back,then he said they did send check already and it was for too much but he would use extra amount for his traveling. I just received check which I will not attempt to cash.  Will contact DA's office and try to get this A**h*** preying on people trying to do the right thing.
