This is a long running scam perpetrated by apparently a group in the Central Florida area. They've used a number of "company" names in the past, but it's always the same. They call up and claim you can lower your energy bill, they want to do an assessment of your house, they want to sell you some equipment to lower your bill. But here's the catch, depending on how they're running the scam this time, the equipment is either never delivered or is equipment that is no better than what you probably have in your home now. If they do install anything you can forget any support, and you can expect to pay significantly more than you would with a legitimate company.
There are hundreds of posts about these scammers on these phone number lookup forums. Do a search for things like "Florida Energy" or "Green Energy".
