Called and left a threatening message that I would be taken into custody by local "coats" unless I contacted them to discuss my case.  Out of curiousity, I called back. The man with an eastern Indian accent answered and demanded my name.  I asked him again to repeat what organization he represented and he said IRS.  He wouldn't say "Internal Revenue Service, just IRS.  I just received my income tax refund and also know that IRS contacts you through USPS certified mail.  So I told him that IRS doesn't contact through the telephone and he became angry and yelled at me demanding to know who I was.  At that point I told him I was hanging up.  He kept yelling and I hung up.

Same thing happened to me yesterday and today I also told him probably the same thing with the strong Indian accent that I know the IRS did true internal revenue service will not called they will send out letters and He also got angry with me.

Got a phone call from this number yesterday and today saying they was the IRS and I was going to go to jail I told them I know it's not true because the IRS the real IRS will not call you they will send you letters to your address and I just received my refund so I know I'm not in trouble or anything so this is a scam do not give them any of your information and report them I also told him I was reporting him to the real IRS and he got very very mad at me and started yelling at me said that there would be somebody there today to arrest me I told him Bring It On

Received a call from this number stating that I had several charges against me that could result in my arrest if I didn't pay up immediately to the IRS.  I then stated that the IRS never calls to demand immediate payment nor do they threaten to bring in local police or other law enforcement groups to have  you arrested.  I then told the foreign male with a heavy accent on what appeared to be a line with a bad connection that I was going to contact the IRS at which time I was told "not to contact any family members or friends or the IRS".  I then ended the call
