Called as a debt reduction company Claiming to be Nationwide Debt Relief. After speaking with that company's upper level manager he assured me it wasn't them. When I asked the person to be removed from their calling list in a thick Brooklyn accent he replied "Are you a [***] idiot, you are supposed to press 2 to be removed, what a idiot. I can't help you"

Good point - they do give you the option at the beginning of the call to opt out.

The caller said he was trying to help with past due debt. I asked where he got my unlisted, do not call list, cell phone number. He said, no worries, we only paid .02 for it. He then stated they were a law firm.  I told him to remove me from his list & that I went thru bankruptcy & no longer had credit card debt. He got smart& said, "oh yah, how did you do that?"
I then asked for the main phone #, name of the business & the name of the person in charge, He asked (his exact words) "Oh, you mean the head negro (not my words) in charge?" I was stunned & furious. I asked him again his name & the name of the person in charge, he spoke to someone in the room with him, sounded like Lee & then hung up.
